The man who never wanted to have any children

I know a man who never wanted to have any children.

He takes very tender, loving care of his wife when she is pregnant. Foot massage and fresh jalebis, if that’s what she wants. Jamoca Almond Fudge, in cone from Nirula’s. The larger she gets the more he beams, tells her she is beautiful.

When his daughters are born, he looks lost, miserable, sleepy. Tired. Gets ill. Takes, trains, buses, flights to get away. Runs.
He even seems mean, sometimes.

At some point, a few months later, he begins to recover.

He is an excellent father.
Brushes their teeth, washes their feet and then massages their soles as they are lulled to sleep. If he tries to read them to sleep, sometimes he falls asleep slurring on his own story….. while I find the kids fresh and awake.

(that’s all I know so far)

A couple of weeks later, I showed this post to the man its about. He saw the title and commented, “Not only never wanted to have any children, still never wants to have any…..write that there.”
He’s mean.

About mydaughtersmum

"Because I'm a Tinker. That's who I am. Tinkers fix things. But I can't do it alone." (Pause for lots of action. Group Action......) "You did it, Tinker, you saved Spring!" I also have three children, one marriage, a million friends and one life.
